dc.description.abstract	การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. ศึกษาพัฒนาการและแบบเรื่องของคติความเชื่อเรื่อง พระร่วงในสังคมไทย 2.วิเคราะห์บทบาทของคติความเชื่อเรื่องพระร่วง 3. สังเคราะห์บทบาทและการดำรงอยู่ของคติความเชื่อเรื่องพระร่วงในสังคมไทย โดยใช้วิธีการทางประวัติศาสตร์และคติชน วิทยา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า คติความเชื่อเรื่องพระร่วงมีพัฒนาการมาจากงานเขียนประวัติศาสตร์ที่มีลักษณะเป็นเรื่องเล่ากึ่งประวัติศาสตร์ จนเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เกิดการสร้างสรรค์วรรณกรรมมุข ปาฐะประจำ ถิ่นอีกหลายสำนวนในเวลาต่อมาคติความเชื่อเรื่องพระร่วงมีบทบาททั้งในฐานะของตำนานบุคคลและตำนานเมืองที่มีบทบาททางการเมืองซึ่งช่วยสร้างสถานภาพและความชอบธรรมทางการเมืองทั้งในระบบกษัตริย์นิยมและสนับสนุนอำนาจบุคคลในระบบการปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น บทบาททางศีลธรรมและจริยธรรมซึ่งเป็นการควบคุมระเบียบของสังคมวางแบบแผนทาง พฤติกรรมและความมั่นคงทางใจอันส่งผลให้เกิดกิจกรรมทางความเชื่อและพิธีกรรมสำคัญประจำถิ่น รวมทั้งบทบาททางศิลปกรรมอันเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปกรรมแขนงต่างๆ คติความเชื่อเรื่องพระร่วงจึงเป็นมโนสำนึกเกี่ยวกับวีรบุรุษเรื่องสำคัญที่ดำรงอยู่ได้เรื่อยมาในรูปแบบของชื่อบ้านนามเมือง สถานที่สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์และสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อเป็นเครื่องพึ่งพาทางจิตใจของผู้ค้นและชุมชนยามประสบปัญญา ทั้งยังมีประโยชน์ต่อการจัดการพื้นที่และชุมชนให้รองรับกับความคิดเรื่องเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์

dc.description.abstractalternative	This research aims to study the development of the belief of Phra raung. It focuses on the study of the role and existence of the belief in Thai society, reflecting the interactions that affect the social and cultural life. The information collected from the beliefs of the Phra Raung, written in history, and the narrative of the poetry found in the lower northern region. The study indicated that The belief of Phra Raung has evolved from historical narrative to semi-narrative. The inspiration for the creation of literary and local idioms many more later. Phra Raung has a role as both a legendary person and a city legend. It has a political role that helps to create political status and legitimacy in the monarchy and supports the power of the people in the local government system. Moral and ethical roles that govern social order. Behavioral and mental stability. This results in significant belief and ritual activities. Including the role of art inspiration in the creation of various arts. The belief of the Phra Ruang is a consciousness about the heroic importance that exists in the form of the name of the city. Historical landmarks and environment to be a mental machine of the people and the community. It also benefits the management of the area and the community to support the idea of creative economy.
