ผลการวิเคราะห์คุณภาพน้ำและดินตะกอนบริเวณชายฝั่งตะวันออกตามสถานีศึกษาในช่วงปี 2535-2536 ไม่มีลักษณะการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่รุนแรงในค่าของ pH ออกซิเจละลายน้ำ อุณหภูมิและความเค็ม ส่วนการศึกษาการปลดปล่อยฟอสฟอรัสในรูปของฟอสเฟตจากดินตะกอนบริเวณบางแสนพบว่า ไม่เพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อค่า pH สูงเกินประมาณ 8.2 แต่กลับลดลง อาจเป็นผลมาจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงในเนื้อส่วนประกอบของดินตะกอน จึงควรมีการศึกษาส่วนประกอบของดินตะกอนประกอบกับการศึกษาการปลดปล่อยฟอสฟอรัสในดินตะกอน |

Results from quality of coastal water and sediments from designed station between 1992-1993 did not show clear variations in pH,dissolved oxygen, temperature and salinity. Studies on phosphorus release from Bangsaen sediments in the form of phosphate failed to increase with increasing pH of water over 8.2 but decreased
accordingly. This might due to changes in chemical compositions of sediment matrixes. Further detailed studies on sediment matrixes should be accompanied when study on phosphorus replease from sediment was performed |
