การวิจัยศาลเจ้าจีนในจังหวัดชลบุรี : คติ ความคิด ความเชื่อ กำเนิดและพัฒนาการถือกำเนิดของชุมชนชาวจีนชลบุรี มีลักษณะรูปแบบที่คล้ายกันคือบรรพบุรุษมีการอพยพมาจากจีนแผ่นดินใหญ่เข้าสู่พื้นที่ในอำเถอเมืองและอำเภอศรีราชาเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นพื้นฐานความเชื่อความศรัทธาดั้งเดิมที่มีบรรพบุรุษ องค์เทพต่างๆ และต้องการสถานที่อันเป็นศูนย์รวมสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เพื่อการประกอบพิธีกรรมตามความเชื่อแนวคิดการกำเนิดศาลเจ้าจังหวัดชลบุรีการพัฒนาการศาลเจ้าในจังหวัดชลบุรี ประกอบด้วยแนวคิดที่ ๑ เป็นกลุ่มสถานที่ไหว้ฟ้าดิน เขตเมืองหลักสี่ทิศของออำเภอเมือง เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นไม่มีการอัญเชิญองค์เทพเจ้าประดิษฐานเพื่อเคารพ และจะกราบไหว้ตามแนวคิดเรื่อง ฟ้าดิน ซึ่งจะมีแท่นไหว้ ตามแต่ละแห่งจะออกแบบ แนวคิดที่ ๒ กำเนิดอาคารสิ่งก่อสร้างศาลเจ้า ในระยะเริ่มต้นบางแห่งนำเอาเฮียห้วย (ขี้ธูป) กระถางธูป หรือผงขี้เถ้าธูป มาจากเมืองจีน หรือจากศาลเจ้าใหญ่ นำมาบูชา เริ่มจากศาลเจ้าขนาดเล็ก หลังคามุงจากมาเป็นโครงสร้างไม้ จนพัฒนามาเป็นอาคารทรงตึก ก่ออิฐถือปูน ลักษณะรูปแบบของศาลเจ้า เป็นสถาปัตยกรรมสกุลแต้จิ๋วเป็นต้นแบบในการพัฒนาและคลี่คลายขยายขนาดและจำนวนชั้นในช่วงหลังต่อมา มีรูปแบบ การาร้างสรรค์ สถาปัตยกรรม ประติมากรรม จิตรกรรม ตกแต่งสวยงาม มีการรับอิทธิพลแบบแผนคติความเชื่อจากศิลปะศาลเจ้าจีนต้นแบบ มีคุณค่าทางความงามความวิจิตรของฝีมือช่างที่เป็นช่างท้องถิ่นชลบุรีและช่างรับเหมามาจากนอกพื้นที่ กลุ่มบุคคลผู้ที่มีบทบาทเรียกว่าคณะกรรมการบริหารผู้นำประธานศาลเจ้า ในการบริหารจะเป็นผู้อาวุโส เป็นผู้ยึดมั่นความดีงามประกอบธุรกิจการค้าขายสำเร็จร่ำรวยเพราะศาลเจ้าแสดงบทบาททำงานด้านสาธารณะสกุลจึงต้องมี ผู้บริจาคผู้สนับสนุนทางการเงิน ศาลเจ้าจีนปรากฏทั่วไปทุกอำเภอ ของชลบุรี นอกจากเป็นสถานที่พึ่งทางใจตามคติความเชื่อปะเพณีดั้งเดิม ศาลเจ้าจีนยังมีคุณค่าทางศิลปกรรมความงามความวิจิตรเป็นหลักฐานทางวัฒนธรรมที่มองเห็นได้ คงอยู่เป็นร่องรอยทางประวัติศาสตร์ ทางศิลปวัฒนธรรมประเพณีของชาวจีนในจังหวัดชลบุรีสืบไป |

The research is about Chinese shrines in Chonburi : principle, thought belief, origin and development of Chinese communities in Chonburi. All the Chinese communities are quite similar in term of pattern of imagration. Their ancestors migrated from China mainland into the area of Muang district and Sriracha district as a start. There were original beliefs and faith to the ancestors and gods. There were also needs of places to be center of all sacred things in order to perform to perform ritual belief. The originate of worshiping heaven and earth.
The 4 main comers of the city area were staring places. There were no gods but only the idea of worshiping heaven and earth. There are platforms installed in different places and the designs are various. Idea 2 : the originate of Chinese shrine construction, the very first was started from bringing in the ashes from incense and incense burners from China mainland and worship on them. It was started from small shrines with simple constructions and then went to bigger shrines and more complex and study building. The architecture of Chinese shrines are in Chiu Chow style. They started quite small and then become bigger and decrease some of the levels down. There were more creativity put into the architectures, sculptures, painting, and decorating. There are some influences from the Chinese beliefs, craftsmanship from the local people, and contractors from outside the area. and then went to bigger shrines and more complex and study building. There are groups of people who in charge on the Chinese shrines called board of directors. The leader of the board will always be the elders who believe and do good things; a person who succeed in his business because of the shrine. The shrines have another role of going community services, so there are a lot of donators who pay to support the shrine activities. Chinese shrine are everywhere in Chonburi. They are not only sanctuaries of people beliefs but there are also values in term of arts. They are culture evidences that can be perceived through eyes and they are also traces of history and traditions of Chinese people in Chonburi |
