ทำการศึกษาชนิดของปูน้ำเค็มบริเวณหมู่เกาะแสมสาร อำเภอสัตหีบ จังหวัดชลบุรี โดยเก็บตัวอย่างปูน้ำเค็มทุก 2 เดือนจากแนวเขตน้ำขึ้นน้ำลงบริเวณชายฝั่งและแนวปะการังของเกาะต่าง ๆ ในบริเวณหมู่เกาะแสมสาร ได้แก่ เกาะจระเข้ เกาะจวง เกาะจาน เกาะแสมสาร เกาะเต่า เกาะฉางเกลือ และเกาะขาม ระหว่างเดือน พฤศจิกายน 2552 ถึงเดือน พฤศจิกายน 2556 ทำการถ่ายภาพสีของตัวอย่างปู จากนั้นดองตัวอย่างปูด้วยแอลกอฮอล์ 70% แล้วทำการจำแนกสปีชีส์ โดยอาศัยลักษณะเดืนที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ กระดองหรือ คาราเปส (carapace) หนวดคู่ที่ 2 (antenna) ฐานหนวดคู่ที่ 2 (basal antennal joint) รยางค์ปากคู่ที่ 3 (3 th maxiliped) ขาเดินคู่ที่ 1 หรือก้ามหนีบ (cheliped) ขาเดินคู่ที่ 5 (5 th pereiopod) ส่วนท้อง (abdomen) และอวัยวะเพศผู้ (male gonopod) รวมทั้งลักษณะลวดลายและสีสันต่าง ๆ บนกระดอง ตามหลักเกณฑ์และวิธีการจำแนกของ Sakai (1976), Aiyun & Siliang (1991) และ Ng et al (2008) จากการศึกษาพบปูน้ำเค็มทั้งสิ้น 2 อันดับย่อย (Infraorders) 23 ครอบครัว 38 สกุล 54 ชนิด |

Species of marine crabs from Samaesarn lslands, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi Province were studied. The specimens of marine crabs were collected every two consecutive months from the intertidal and coral reef areas around several lslands of Mo Ko Samaesarn such as Ko Jorakae, Ko Juang, Ko Jarn, Ko Samaesarn Ko Changkur and Ko Kharm from November 2009 to 2013. Color photographs of dorsal views of the whole crabs had been taken immdiately at the time of collection. The specimens were then fixed and preserved in 70% ethyl alcohol. Identification to species was based on the morphological characters of carapace, antenna, basal antenna joint, third maxilliped, 1 st pereiopod or cheliped, 5 th pereiopod, abdomen, and male gonopod including the coloured pattern of the carapace, according to the Sakai (1976) Aiyun & Silang (1991) ang Ng et. al. (2008). The total species of marine crabs were 2 Infraorder 23 families 38 genera 54 species. |
