จากการนับเซลล์ชนิดของเมล็ดเลือดของตะพาบน้ำหนักเฉลี่ย 358 กรัม ได้ค่าร้อยละของเม็ดเลือดขาวเมื่อนับรวมกับทรอมโบไซท์ได้ค่าดังนี้ นิวโตรฟิล 4.4 % , อีโอซิโนฟิล 12.6 % , โมโนไซท์ 13.8 % , ลิมโฟไซท์ 17.2 % , เฮเทอร์โรฟิล 28 % และ ทรอมโบไซท์ 24 % สำหรับค่าโลหิตวิทยา ได้ค่าเม็ดเลือดแดงมีค่าเฉลี่ย 0.56 0.07 10 cell/mm จำนวนเม็ดเลือดขาวมีค่า 14.64 4.93 10 ค่าฮีมาโตคริต 50.55 5.86 % , ค่าฮีโมโกลบิน 8.14 0.71 g/100 ml , ค่า M.C.V. เท่ากับ 916.20 84.22 cubic micron , ค่า M.C.H. เท่ากับ 147.53 19.69 pg และค่า M.C.H.C. ท่ากับ 16.17 2.19 % |

The result of differential count of soft-shelled turtles was : Neutrophil = 4.4% , Eosinophil = 12.6 % , Monocyte = 13.8 % , Lymphocyte = 17.2 % , Thrombocyte = 24 % and Heterophil = 28 %. The erythrocyte , 7-10 12-18 micron, is an oval which contains within its membrane yellowish to brick-red staining homogeneous hemoglobin-rich cytoplasm and one nuclei. The general morphology of white blood cells were similar to other reptiles. The hematological values were : Red blood cell = 0.56 0.07 10 cell/mm , White blood cell = 14.64 4.93 10 , Hematocrit = 50.55 5.86 % , Hemoglobin = 8.14 0.71 g/100 ml , Mean cell volume = 916.20 84.22 cubic micron, Mean cell hemoglobin = 147.53 19.69 pg and Mean cell hemoglobin concentration = 16.17 2.19 % |
