Abstract:
การศึกษาหาระดับความเข้มข้นของฮอร์โมนฟลูออกซิเมสเตอโรนผสมในอาหาร (รำละเอียด ผสมปลาป่น) ที่เหมาะสมในการแปลงเพศปลานิล Oreochromis niloticus (Linnaeus) ให้เป็นเพศผู้ทั้งหมดด้วยการให้อาหารผสมฮอร์โมนฟลูออกซิเมสเตอโรน ในอัตรา 5 และ 3 มิลลิกรัมต่อกิโลกรัม และกลุ่มควบคุม (ปราศจากฮอร์โมน) กับลูกปลานิลอายุ 7 วัน เป็นเวลาทั้งสิ้น 40 วัน หลังจากได้นำลูกปลามาตรวจสอบเพศ โดยวิธีทางเนื้อเยื่อวิทยา พบว่าที่ระดับ 5 และ 3 มิลลิกรัมต่อกิโลกรัม สามารถแปลงเพศลูกปลานิลได้ทั้งหมดซึ่งสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมที่พบลูกปลาเพศผู้เพียง 59.54+4.12% อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ( P<0.05) โดยอัตราการรอดตายไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P<0.05) เมื่อนำลูกปลานิลทุกการทดลองมาเลี้ยงในกระชังไนลอนตาถี่ขนาด 1 เมตร x 1.5 เมตร x 0.9 เมตร ด้วยความหนาแน่น 266 ตัวต่อน้ำ 1 ลูกบาศก์เมตร ให้อาหารเม็ดสำเร็จรูปโปรตีนประมาณ 20% เป็นเวลา 125 วันจากการตรวจสอบเพศด้วยการผ่าตัดพบว่าปลาที่ได้รับฮอร์โมนฟลูออกซิเมสเตอโรนที่ระดับ 5 และ3 มิลลิกรัมต่อกิโลกรัม ยังคงมีผลเหนี่ยวนำให้เป็นปลาเพศผู้ 100.00±0.00% และ 96.00±2.50% ตามลำดับ ซึ่งสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม (64.00±2.40%) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P<0.05) ขณะที่การเจริญเติบโตอัตราการเจริญเติบโต ผลผลิตรวมและอัตราการรอดตายไม่มีควมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P>0.05) กล่าวคือ มีน้ำหนัก (ความยาว) เฉลี่ยเพิ่มขึ้นเท่ากับ 8.04±0.91 กรัม 6.25±0.26 เซนติเมตร 8.27±0.59 กรัม (6.36±0.31 เซนติเมตร) และ 7.39±0.33 กรัม (6.36±0.31 เซนติเมตร) และ 7.39±0.33 กรัม (6.19±0.05 เซนติเมตร) อัตราการเจริญเติบโตโดยน้ำหนัก (Slope) เท่ากับ 0.0516, 0.0495 และ 0.0516 ผลผลิตรวมเท่ากับ 0.95±0.10, 0.97±0.15 และ 1.00±0.08 กิโลกรัมต่อลูกบาศก์เมตร และมีอัตราการรอดตายเฉลี่ย 61.83%, 50.17% และ 57.83% ในปลากลุ่มที่ได้รับฮอร์โมน 5 และ 3 มิลลิกรัมต่อกิโลกรัม และกลุ่มควบคุมตามลำดับ หลังจากนั้นจุงสุ่มปลาส่วนหนึ่งมาเลี้ยงทดสอบต่อในกระชังตาห่าง ขนาด 0.5 เมตร x1 เมตร x 0.5 เมตร ด้วยความหนาแน่น 140 ตัวต่อน้ำ 1 ลูกบาศก์เมตร ให้อาหารเม็ดสำเร็จรูปโปรตีนประมาน 35% เป็นเวลา 45 วัน ถึงแม้ว่าจะไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P>0.05) อย่างไรก็ตามแนวโน้มในกลุ่มปลานิลที่ได้รับฮอร์โมนพบว่า มีการเจริญเติบโต อัตราการเจริญเติบโต ผลผลิตรวมสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม โดยอัตราการรอดตายยังคงไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P>0.05)
