การสำรวจการปนเปื้อนของ Vibrio parahaemolyticus และ Vibrio vulnificus ในหอยนางรมสดแกะเปลือก จำนวนทั้งหมด 160 ตัวอย่าง ซึ่งเก็บจากร้านค้าบริเวณชายฝั่งทะเลเทศบาลตำบลอ่างศิลา จังหวัดชลบุรี ในช่วงเดือนมกราคมถึงเดือนมิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2553 โดยใช้เทคนิคมัลติเพล็กซ์ จำนวนตัวอย่างที่เก็บแต่ละเดือนมีจำนวน 20-40 ตัวอย่าง ยีนเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการตราจสอบคือยีน tl สำหรับบ่งชี้ V. parahaemolyticus ทั้งหมด ยีน tdh สำหรับบ่งชี้ V. parahaemolyticus สายพันธุ์ก่อโรค (tdh+) และยีน vvh สำหรับบ่งชี้ V. vulnificus ทั้งหมด พบว่าหอยนางรมสดแกะเปลือกที่นำมาตรวจสอบมีการปนเปื้อนมากที่สุด (100 เปอร์เซ็นต์) ในเดือนเมษายนและเดือนพฤษภาคม และมีปริมาณการปนเปื้อนลดลงเล็กน้อยในเดือนมิถุนายน (85%) สำหรับ V. parahaemolyticus สายพันธุ์ก่อโรค (tdh+) พบมีการปนเปื้อนอยู่ในตัวอย่างหอยนางรม 15 ตัวอย่าง คิดเป็น 9.4 เปอร์เซ็นต์ของจำนวนตัวอย่างทั้งหมด อย่างไรก็ตามในการศึกษานี้ตรวจพบการปนเปื้อนของ V. vulnificus เฉพาะในเดือนมิถุนายนเท่านั้น โดยพบจำนวน 4 ตัวอย่าง (20 เปอร์เซ็นต์) จากกหอยนางรมจำนวน 20 ตัวอย่างที่เก็บมาศึกษาในเดือนนี้ การตรวจพบ V. parahaemolyticus สายพันธุ์ tdh+ และ V. vulnificus แสดงให้เห็นถึงความเสี่ยงในการที่จะทำให้เกิดการติดเชื้อในคนที่ทำงานเกี่ยวข้องกับหอยนางรมรวมทั้งผู้บริโภค |

The occurrence of two Vibrio species including V. parahaemolyticus and V. vulnificus in unshelled raw oyster samples from the coastal area of the Ang-Silla municipality, Chonburi province was investigated by multiplex PCR analysis. A total of 160 samples of oyster were randomly collected from retailers during January to June.2010. Twenty to forty samples were taken monthly for the analysis. Multiplex PCR targeted tl and tdh for the identification of total and virulent stains of V. parahaemolyticus, respectively, and vvh for V. vulnificus was performed to determine the bacterial absoence and presence. V. parahaemolyticus was detected in all oyster samples (100 %) in April and May, and slightly decreased in June (85 %). The presence of virulent-associated tdh gene of V. parahaemolyticus was also deteeted, but only from 9.4 % of total samples. The presence of V. vulnificus was only observed in four samples in June (20 %). Our data demonstrate that V. parahaemolyticus is ubiquitous in raw oyster and the occurrence of tdh+ strains as well as V. vulnificus may have possible health implications for concumers and peple who are often exposed to raw oyster on a daily basis. |
