คุณลักษณะของบัณฑิตมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ตามกรอบแผนอุดมศึกษาระยะยาว 15 ปี ฉบับที่ 2 (พ.ศ. 2551-2565)

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะของบัณฑิตมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาตามกรอบแผนอุดมศึกษาระยะยาว 15 ปี ฉบับที่ 2 (พ.ศ. 2551-2565) กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 24 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพโดย ใช้ค่าสถิติ ได้แก่ ค่ามัธยฐาน(Median) ค่าฐานนิยม (Mode) ค่าความแตกต่างระหว่างมัธยฐานและฐานนิยม และ ค่าพิสัยระหว่างควอไทล์ (Interquartile Range) ผลจากการวิจัยปราฎว่า คุณลักษณะของบัณฑิตมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาตามกรอบแผนอุดมศึกษาระยะยาว 15 ปี ฉบับที่ 2 (พ.ศ. 2551- 2556) ที่ควรมีในมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา เป็นคุณลักษณะ ที่โดดเด่น เหมาะแก่การเร่งสร้างให้ เกิดเป็นคุณลักษณะของบัณฑิต ประกอบด้วย 5 คุณลักษณะตามลำดับความเห็นสอดคล้องกันของผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ดังนี้ 1) มีคุณธรรมและจริยธรรมในตน ในวิชาชีพ และในสังคม โดยสามารถทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่นได้อย่างสร้างสรรค์ มีความ รับผิดชอบต่อวิชาชีพและต่อสังคม ยึดมั่นในจรรยาบรรณวิชาชีพ รู้จักเสียสละเอื้อเฟื้อ ยอมรับความแตกต่างระหว่าง บุคคล ปฏิบัติงานอย่างสร้างสรรค์ 2) มีความรู้ความสามารถอย่างลึกซึ้งตามสาขาวิชาชีพ เข้าใจหลักการและทฤษฎี พื้นฐานในการทำงาน โดยนำความรู้มาใช้ในการแก้ปัญหาเฉพาะหน้า และนำไปประยุกต์พัฒนาในวิชาชีพ 3) มีความ สามารถใช้ภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร บัณฑิตควรมีทักษะภาษาอยู่ในระดับดี ซึ่งจะต้องมีทักษะทางภาษา 4 ด้าน คือด้าน ฟัง พูด อ่าน เขียน สื่อสารได้อย่างถูกต้อง และสามารถนำความรู้ทางด้านภาษาไปใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ในการทำงาน ได้ 4) มีสมรรถภาพ และสุขภาพที่ดีทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจ มีจิตใจที่ร่าเริงแจ่มใส มองโลกในแง่ดี เห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง และผู้อื่น และมีวิธีการจัดการกับความเครียดได้อย่างเหมาะสม 5) เป็นพลเมืองที่ดีสามารถบริหารความขัดแย้งที่จะ เกิดขึ้นได้ มีจิตสาธารณะ พร้อมทั้งยอมรับความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่น แก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้งที่จะเกิดขึ้นได้ สามารถนำ ความขัดแย้งมาเป็นโอกาสในการทำงานและการดำเนินชีวิต The purpose of this research was to study the characteristics of undergraduate students at Burapha University according to the long range plan (15 years plan) of the Higher Education Commission of Thailand. The sample for a qualitative data collection was 24 experts. The tools for data collection were interview and questionnaires. The statistical analysis was done using mean, median, mode and inter quartile range. The results of the study were that; the over all finding indicated that the characteristics of undergraduate students of Burapha University were found to be highly satisfied, they should be promoted and enforced. The characteristics composed of main characteristics they were, 1. Virtue and morality of; self, profession and society, be able to work creatively with others, responsible to profession and society, persist in professional code of conduct sacrefy, accept individual differences, 2. Possessing deep knowledge in a profession, good understanding of theory and foundation, applying knowledge for problem solving and for professional development 3. Be able to use language for communication, students should have high communicative skill for all 4 skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing. Communicate effectively, can utilize communication skill for effective work 4. Good mental and physical health, cheerful with positive mind, valuing of self and others, can manage stress properly 5. Be a good citizen, can manage conflict, having public mind, accepting others’ opinion, be able to solve problem, can turn threat in to opportunity for work and living
