A Factor Analysis of How to Educate Parente for Pre-School Child's Reactices in Chonburi Province.
The purposes of this study were to compare the edicational needs of the parents in rearing the pre-School chid coming from differnt family conditions which are : career condition, marriage condition economy condition, working condition, Level of edication, the size of the family, and the style of rearing and rearing up the chind.
This study analyzed the factors to give parents the advice and edication. The study also invesstigated the situation of the problems and the need for the edication necessary for the the parents living in the rural area in Chonburi so that they know how to bring up their child properly.
the sample used in this study were the parents of the pre school children of 0-5 years of age. These parents are those of 126 families Living in the rural areas Chonburi Province. the mathod used was the specific sampling device. the instrumant used for data collection was the personal condition questionnaires, they were the questionnaires which dealt with the style and and form of rearing pre-school child. The questionnaires observed the parents' behavior,and they were interviewed about their knowledge and their practice used in rearing the pre-school child. the statistics used for data analysis were the percentage rating fcale, T-test and F-test, and factor analysis.
1. Pre-school child' parents whose family condition concerntion career, mrriage, economy, level of education, working, the size of the famiry, and the form and style of rearing were different, but whose knowledge and the practice concerning the rearing and the nutrition of the pre-school child were not different.
2. Pre-school child' parents whose family condition concerntion career, mrriage, economy, level of education, working, the size of the famiry, and the form and style of rearing were different, but their knowledge and the practice concerning the rearing of the pre-school child concerning their healthy healthy habits and their mental health were not different.
3. Pre-school child' parents whose family condition concerntion career, mrriage, economy, and the size of the family were different, had knowledg ang their practice in rearing the pre-school child concerning bodily, emotional,school child's parents whose working condition, level of education and the form and style of rearing the pre- school child were different, had knowledge ang their practice concerning the rearing the pre- school child concerning dobily, emotional,social and intellectual development were statistically differrent at the .05 level of significance.
4. the parents' knowledge ang the practice concerning the rearing of the pre-school child concerning concerning with the healthy habit and the mantal health were significantly and statistically related to the level of significance, but the relationships among the nutrition and the bodily, emotional, social ang intellectula were not yet found.
5. Most of the pre-school child's parents hed knowledge and information service of how to rear the pre-school child. The social service offices where the parents want to go to ask for such the information are of these kinds. they are
5.1 The social service office which serve them to know better about how to rear the pre-school child, and these kinse kinds of office are known well familiar with most parents : they are "the Development centre for the Little child" and "The Nutritional Promotion Project for the Little children."
5.2 Most of the pre-school child's parentshave received social welfare from the special offices and certain kinds of projects such as "The Development centre for the youg children" and ""The Nutritional Promotion Project for the Little children."
5.3 The kind of special offices needed by the parents of the pre-school child is the kind of offices which are the sources where they can supplement their knowledge about how to rear the pre-school child. such kinds of projects are : "the central Prject for the Development of the Little children", "the Good Health promotion Project for Little children", and "the Project for Little children and Mother in the Rural Area." |
