dc.description.abstract	การใช้เส้นใยในการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ เรียกว่าศิลปะเส้นใย (Fiber Art) ในอดีตมีรากฐานมาจากงานหัตถกรรม (Craft) เช่น การทอผ้า การเย็บปักถักร้อย ซึ่งเป็นวิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่แบบครัวเรือนและเกิดการสร้างงานหัตถกรรมของชุมชนสตรี จากงานประดิษฐ์สิ่งของเครื่องใช้และของประดับตกแต่งบ้านก็กลาย เป็นวัฒนธรรมที่แสดงอัตลักษณ์ของแต่ละท้องถิ่น การนำวัสดุเส้นใยไปใช้ไม่ได้มีคุณค่าเพียงงานหัตถกรรมเท่านั้นเนื่องจากขอบเขตของงานศิลปะในปัจจุบันเปิดกว้างทางการแสดงออกด้วยรูปแบบที่หลากหลาย ดังนั้นการจำแนกศาสตร์ศิลปะเส้นใยจึงได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากล จากการศึกษาพบว่าศิลปะจากเส้นใยมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นความเชื่อ และสุนทรียภาพในการคิดสร้างสรรค์ มีคุณค่าในการสร้างสรรค์เทียบเท่าศาสตร์อื่น ผู้สร้างงานศิลปะจากเส้นใยในระดับสากลได้รับการยอมรับในฐานะศิลปิน ส่วนในประเทศไทยก็มีศิลปินที่สร้างสรรค์งานประเภทนี้อยู่มาก ปัจจุบันมีการเปิดสอนหลักสูตรไฟเบอร์อาร์ตในหลายสถาบันเพราะเปิดกว้างแนวทางใหม่ในการแสดงออกทางศิลปะ เช่น ศิลปะสิ่งทอ (Textile Art) และศิลปะจากผ้า (Fabric Art) รวมถึงในงานออกแบบแฟชั่น (Fashion Design) ศิลปินและนักออกแบบสร้างสรรค์แนวคิด รูปแบบ และเทคนิควิธีการใช้เส้นใยที่มีเอกลักษณ์ ศิลปะเส้นใยในประเทศไทยส่วนใหญ่ถูกนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในงานออกแบบแต่ในทางศิลปะจะถูกจัดเป็นเทคนิคของประเภทศิลปะสื่อประสม (Mixed Media) ไม่ว่าคุณค่าของงานศิลปะเส้นใยจะถูกจัดให้มีคุณค่าอยู่ในศิลปะประเภทใดก็ตามอยู่ที่การตีความหมายในเชิงสุนทรียศิลป์ในงานแต่ละประเภทหรือคุณประโยชน์ ในเชิงพาณิชยศิลป์	th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternative	The use of fibers in the creation of art, formerly known as fiber art, originally comes from handicrafts since the past, such as weaving and embroidery, which is a way of life for households and the creation of handicrafts in the women’s community. From utensils and home decorative handicrafts, this has become a unique expression of local culture. The use of fiber materials is not only valuable in handicrafts, since the scope of art is currently open to express in a variety of styles; therefore, the classification of fiber arts has been accepted internationally. From the study, it is found that fiber art is related to local culture, beliefs and aesthetics in creativity and representing the same creative value as other sciences. Artists who create art from fibers in foreign countries are widely accepted. In Thailand, there are many artists who create this type of work. Currently, fiber arts courses are offered at many institutions as they open up new approaches to artistic expression such as textile art and fabric art including fashion design, artists, conceptual designer, form, styles and techniques for using unique fibers. Most of the fiber arts in Thailand are applied to design, but in the Art, it is classified as technique of the mixed media art, regardless of the value of the fiber arts in any type of art depending on the artistic interpretation of each type of work or benefit commercial art	en
