dc.description.abstract	ความขัดแย้งระหว่างชุมชนป้อมมหากาฬกับกรุงเทพมหานครดูเหมือนเป็นความขัดแย้งที่เกิดจากการไล่รื้อชุมชนดังเช่นที่เกิดกับชุมชนอื่น ๆ เช่น ชุมชนสะพานหัน แต่ในความเป็นจริงพบว่า เป็นความขัดแย้งจากการนิยามคำว่า “วัฒนธรรม” ที่ต่างฝ่ายต่างถือนิยามที่แตกต่างกัน และความขัดแย้งยิ่งยืดเยื้อต่อไปเมื่อเชื่อมโยงสาระของวัฒนธรรมเข้ากับนิยามการพัฒนา จากแนวคิดของสจ๊วต ฮอลล์ พบว่า ความขัดแย้งนี้เกิดขึ้นจากการที่มีนิยามวัฒนธรรมที่หลากหลายและนิยามต่าง ๆ ต่างก็พยายามช่วงชิงอำนาจการนำ ประดุจการสู้รบในสนามรบโดยการสู้รบนี้จะไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด เพราะนิยามที่มีบทบาทนำในวันนี้ก็ต้องพยายามรักษาสถานะของตนเอง ชุมชนป้อมมหากาฬ ซึ่งไม่มีออำนาจตามกฎหมาย จำต้องอาศัยประชาชนทั่วไป นักวิชาการ และภาคประชาสังคมมาร่วมกันสร้างนิยามและความชอบธรรมในนิยามด้วยการสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ของชุมชนให้ชัดเจนขึ้นผ่านสื่อต่าง ๆ ในขณะที่กรุงเทพฯ ที่มีอำนาจตามกฎหมายและดำเนินการต่าง ๆในฐานะตัวแทนของประชาชนและการนำเสนอถึงเจตนาดีในการสร้างกรุงเทพฯ ให้เป็นเมืองหลวงที่น่าอยู่ ก็ได้ใช้สิ่งนี้ในการเป็นตัวแทนของวัฒนธรรมเช่นเดียวกัน	th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternative	The Conflict between Mahakan Fort communities and BangkokMetropilitan seems to be a conflict of the eviction like the othercommunities such as Sapan Han community but, in fact, the conflicthas been from the definition of "culture" that each other holds a differentdefinitions. The conflict is more protracted when linked the essence ofculture to the definition of development. From the concept of Stuart Hallfound that this conflict stems from the more definitions of culture anddefinitions try to seize power like fighting in the battlefield. The battlewill never end because the hegemonic definition needs to maintaintheir status. Mahakan Fort community, has no legal authority, have to relyon public, academics, and civil society to define the definition and toestablish legitimacy of definition by reflecting the identity of communitythrough media. While Bangkok Metropolitian, has the administrativepower, takes action on behalf of the representative and shows goodintentions to create Bangkok to be the livable capital, use these to bethe representation of “culture” as well.	en
