การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษา ความพึงพอใจในการให้บริการสื่อสารสนเทศของฝ่ายโสตทัศนศึกษา สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา โดยศึกษาจากประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ นิสิต อาจารย์ บุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ซึ่งเข้าใช้บริการในสำนักหอสมุด กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 380 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้รวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่าที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น ได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับคืน 380 ฉบับ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป SPSS for Window สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน จากการศึกษาพบว่าสภาพการใช้ส่วนใหญ่เป็นนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรี ภาคปกติ รองลงมาคือบุคลากรมหาวิทยาลัย นิสิตปริญญาตรีภาคพิเศษ สังกัดคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ ฯลฯ สื่อที่มีผู้ใช้บริการมากที่สุดสามอันดับแรกคือ อินเทอร์เน็ต, วีซีดี/ดีวีดี, มินิโฮมเธียเตอร์ สื่อที่มีผู้ใช้บริการน้อยที่สุดสามอันดับคือ หุ่นจำลอง, ชุดอุปกรณ์การศึกษาเทปเสียง และแผนที่/ลูกโลก วันและเวลาที่ขอใช้บริการส่วนมากตอบไม่แน่นอน รองลงมาคือขอใช้บริการทุกวันช่วงเวลา 18.00-20.00 น. ความถี่ในการใช้บริการโดยเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับ 2-3 ครั้งต่อสัปดาห์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการใช้เพื่อการค้นคว้า เพื่อความเพลิดเพลินบันเทิง เพื่อประกอบการเรียน เพื่อค้นข้อมูลทำรายงาน/วิจัย เพื่อการติดต่อสื่อสารทางอินเทอร์เน็ต เพื่อติดตามข่าวสารทันสมัย ตามลำดับ ความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้บริการต่อการสื่อสารสนเทศ ชุดศึกษา/โสตทัศนูปกรณ์ ตลอดจนบริการต่าง ๆ ที่ให้บริการในฝ่ายโสตทัศนศึกษา สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาของผู้ใช้บริการ ด้านการให้บริการของบุคลากรและสถานที่อยู่ในระดับดี ในส่วนของเครื่องมือที่ให้บริการสืบค้นและเวลาที่ให้บริการอยู่ในระดับดีเช่นกัน ด้านปริมาณและคุณภาพของสื่อสารสนเทศที่ให้บริการอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง |

The main purpose of this research was to study users’ satisfaction on using information media service in Audio-visual Department of Burapha University Library. The population comprised students, lecturers, and staff members of Burapha University using information media service at the University Library. The sample consisted of 380 users. A rating-scale questionnaire, constructed by the research, was used for collecting the data. The amount of returned questionnaire was 380 percent. The data were analyzed by means of SPSS for window. Percentage, mean and standard deviation were statistical devices employed for the data analysis.
The finding revealed that the main users were full-time undergraduate students, University personnel, part-time Undergraduate student of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Sciences, etc. respectively. The first three media mostly used were the internet, VCD/DVD, and mini-hometheatre. The last three media least used were model, educational voiced cassette set, and map/globe. The day and time asked for service using was mostly answered uncertain, and everyday service using between 6.00-8.00 p.m. was in the second place. The average frequency of service using was 2-3 times per week. The purpose of using the information media were for knowledge searching, for pleasure, for learning, for information search for report / research writing, for communicating through internet, and for keeping updated with modern news, respectively. The satisfaction on using information media, educational kit, audio-visual equipment and service provided in the Audio-Visual Department of Burapha University in the aspect of service providers and places was rated at a high level. Also, the aspect of searching service and service time were rated at a high level. Finally, the aspect of quantity and quality of information media were rated at a moderate level. |
