| dc.description.abstract | เงินส่งกลับของแรงงานย้านถิ่นเป็นแหล่งรายได้ที่สำคัญรวมทั้งเป็นหลักประกันสำหรับครัวเรือนที่ได้รับเงิน บทความนี้ใช้ข้อมูลการสำรวจภาวะเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของครัวเรือนในปี พ.ศ. 2556 และข้อมูลปริมาณน้ำฝนในระดับจังหวัดเพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยกำหนดพฤติกรรมการส่งเงินกลับของแรงงานในประเทศไทยและทดสอบแรงจูงใจที่เป็นได้ 4 รูปแบบ ประกอบด้วย ความเห็นอกเห็นใจ ผลประโยชน์ต่างตอบแทน การประกันความเสี่ยงและการลงทุน การศึกษานี้ใช้วิธีการสองขั้นตอนของ Hechman (1979) เพื่อประมาณค่าการตัดสินใจส่งเงินกลับและจำนวนเงินส่งกลับโดยการแก้ปัญหาอคติจากการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ผลการศึกษา พบว่า เงินส่งกลับเป้นรูปแบบหนึ่งของสัญญาโดยนัยระหว่างแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกับสมาชิกคนอื่น ๆ ในครัวเรือน ผลจากการวิเคราะห์สมการถดถอยสนับสนุนความสำคัญของแรงจูงใจจากการลงทุนและการประกันความเสี่ยงสำหรับพฤติกรรมการส่งเงินกลับ | th_TH |

| dc.description.abstractalternative | Migrant remittances are often served as a major source of income and insurance for the receiving households. This paper uses the 2013 Socioeconomic Survey (SES) and historical annual rainfall at the provincial level to examine the determinants of remittances behavior in Thailand, and test for four possible motives: altruism, exchange, insurance, and investment. Heckman’s (1979) two-step procedure is applied to estimate the decision to remit and the amount of remittances, accounting for selection bias. The results indicate that remittances are a part of implicit contract arrangement between the migrant and household members. Regression results support the importance of investment and insurance motives for remittances behavior. | th_TH |
