ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพของฟองน้ำจากชายฝั่งทะเลภาคตะวันออกของไทย:จังหวัดชลบุรีและระยอง

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้ทำการสำรวจและเก็บตัวอย่างฟองน้ำจากถิ่นอาศัยต่างๆตามชายฝั่งทะเลในจังหวัดชลบุรีถึงจังหวัดระยอง ระหว่างเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ถึงเดือนตุลาคม 2548 รวมทั้งสิ้น 35 จุดสำรวจ การสำรวจใช้วิธีดำน้ำแบบผิวน้ำและเครื่องช่วยหายใจใต้น้ำในเวลากลางวัน พบฟองน้ำทั้งสิ้น 62 ชนิดจาก 11อันดับ 33 วงศ์และ 39 สกุล ในจำนวนนี้พบฟองน้ำที่พบครั้งแรกในน่านน้ำไทยจำนวน 7 ชนิดได้แก่ ฟองน้ำสีดำ,Penares sp.3; ฟองน้ำหนามสีส้ม,Callyspongia(Toxochalina) pseudofibrosa; ฟองน้ำท่อสีแดง,Oceanapia amdoinensis; ฟองน้ำยืดหยุ่นสีม่วง,Smenospongia sp. ฟองน้ำที่พบส่วนมากเป็นฟองน้ำที่พบมีการแพร่กระจายอยู่ทั่วไปในอ่าวไทยและทะเลจีนใต้. Biodiversity of sponges (Demospongiae,Porifera) for this study had been investigated from various habitats throughout Chon Buri and Rayong province from February to October 2005. Collections for this purpose were conducted from 35 collection sites. Most of the collections were carried out by hand wading and SCUBA diving during daytime and the observations were randomly collected throughout all collection sites.The results show that there were 62 species of demosponges from 11 orders,33 families and 39 genera.Out of these,seven species were the new records in Thai Waters,namely Penares sp.; Halichondria sp.1; Halichondria sp.2; Halichondria sp.3; Callyspongia (Toxochalina) pseudofibrosa; Oceanapia amboinensis; and Smenospongia sp. Moreover,most species were found commonly in the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea.
