การอธิบายผลการทดสอบดินที่ได้จากห้องปฏิบัติการในด้าน bulk modulus และ shear modulus โดยใช้แบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์แบบ micromechanics model

Abstract

โครงการวิจัยนี้ศึกษาพฤติกรรมของดินดังต่อไปนี้ (i) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง small-strain bulk modulus (Kmax) และ effective confining pressure (p’) และ (ii) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง small-strain shear modulus (Gmax) ที่ได้จากการทดสอบแบบต่างๆ ภายใต้สมมุติฐานที่แตกต่างกัน โดยเปรียบเทียบผลการวิเคราะห์จากแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์แบบ micromechanics model กับผลการทดลองในห้องปฏิบัติการ โดยแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์แบบ micromechanics model เป็นแบบจำลองที่คำนวณความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง stress และ strain ในมวลดินโดยพิจารณาจากแรงที่กระทำระหว่างเม็ดดินแลการจัดเรียงตัวของเม็ดดิน โดยเข้าใจในพฤติกรรมของดินบางอย่างในด้าน bulk modulus และ shear modulusโดยใช้แบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์แบบ micromechanics model จะช่วยในการพัฒนา constitutive model ของดินที่ถูกต้องต่อไป The analytical results from the micromechanics model are compared with the experimental results to investigate the following characteristics: (i) the relationship between small-strain bulk modulus and isotropic confining stress and (ii) the anisotropic relationship among the small-strain shear moduli from laboratory and field tests. Micromechanics models relate the small-strain modulus of a soil o the soil fabric and he applied stress state through the interactions among the discrete particles in the assembly. By comparing the results from the model to the experimental data, it can provide some insights into the fundamental mechanism of soil behavior. His shows hat he observed soil characteristics from the experiments can be reasonably explained through a perspective of micromechanics model.
