คุณภาพน้ำทะลในบริเวณชายฝั่งทะเลภาคตะวันออก ตั้งแต่บริเวณปากแม่น้ำบางปะกง จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา จนถึงปากแม่น้ำตราด จังหวัดตราด ในเขตพื้นที่หลักการใช้ประโยชน์ชายฝั่งที่สำคัญของภาคตะวันออก รวม 76 สถานี ทำการศึกษาในช่วงฤดูแล้ง (มีนาคม 2547) และฤดูฝน (สิงหาคม 2547) พบว่า คุณภาพน้ำทะเลส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในเกณฑ์มาตรฐานคุณภาพน้ำทะเลชายฝั่งของไทย ยเว้น ออกซิเจนละลายบางบริเวณมีค่าต่ำกว่ามาตรฐานเล็กน้อย เมื่อเปรียบเทียบคุณภาพน้ำในแต่ละเขตพื้นที่หลักการใช้ประโยชน์ชายฝั่ง พบว่า เขตเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำชายฝั่งบริเวณปากแม่น้ำบางปะกง-อ่างศิลา มีความเสื่อมโทรมมากกว่าเขตอื่น ๆ ส่วนเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติและนันทนาการเพื่อการว่ายน้ำ จังหวัดระยอง น้ำทะเลค่อนข้างสะอาด และมีคุณภาพดีกว่าเขตอื่น |

Coastal water quality along the Eastern coast of Thailand was investigated from Bangpakong estuary to Trat estuary covering various zones of beneficial uses. Water samples were collected from 76 stations in the dry (March 2004) and wet (August 2004) seasons. The result showed that the levels of coastal water quality were still within the Thai coastal water quality standard, except dissolved oxygen in some station. Comparing the water quality among various zones of beneficial uses, it was found that the most deteriorated water quality was at the aquaculture zone from Bangpakong estuary to Ang Sila, while the good one was at the preservation and swimming zones in Rayong Province |
