dc.description.abstract	บทความวิจัยชิ้นนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาททางการเมืองของ กองทัพไทย และพัฒนาการบทบาททางการเมืองของกองทัพไทย ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2535-2563 ด้วยวิธีการ สัมภาษณ์อดีตนายทหารชั้นผู้ใหญ่ และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิฝ่ายพลเรือน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า พัฒนาการบทบาททาง การเมืองของกองทัพไทย ซึ่งเคยอยู่ในภาวะที่ถดถอยและความนิยมขึ้นอยู่ในระดับสูงสุดโดยอิงกับทัศนคติทางสังคมที่มีต่อกองทัพในแต่ละช่วงเหตุการณ์ทางการเมือง จึงมีผลต่อสำนึกของผู้นำกองทัพในการกำหนดท่าทีและการตัดสินใจทางการเมือง การที่กองทัพมีความน่าเชื่อถือทางสังคมมากกว่าสถาบันทางการเมืองอื่นๆ จึงถูกดึงเข้ามาอยู่ในแวดวงการเมืองมาตลอด และมีแนวโน้มว่ากองทัพไทยคงยังรักษาและขยายบทบาททางการเมืองของตนเองไว้ได้ จนถึงปัจจุบัน สำหรับปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาททางการเมืองของกองทัพไทยตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2535-2563ได้แก่ 3 ปัจจัยสำคัญ คือ 1) ด้านรัฐธรรมนูญ 2) ด้านความมั่นคง และ 3) ด้านการมืองภาคประชาชน ซึ่งได้เอื้อ อำนวยให้กองทัพไทยปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทได้อย่างกลมกลืน และมีความชอบธรรมในฐานะผู้ควบคุมและกำหนดกติกาทางการเมืองไทยได้อย่างยาวนาน	th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternative	The objective of this article was to study the factors affecting the changes in the political role of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the development of the political role of the Royal Thai Armed Forces from 1992 to 2020. The study was conducted through interviews with former senior military officers and experts in the civil sector. The results revealed that the development of the political role of the Royal Thai Armed Forces used to be in a recession and also gained the highest popularity based on social attitudes towards the military in different political events, which affected the awareness of the military leaders in making political attitudes and decisions. Due to the fact that the military was more socially credible than other political institutions, the military had usually been drawn into the political sphere; moreover, it is likely that the Royal Thai Armed Forces could maintain and expand its political role so far. The factors affecting the changes in the political role of the Royal Thai Armed Forces from 1992 to 2020 consisted of 1) the factors regarding Thai Constitution, 2) the security factors and 3) the civil politics factors. These three factors facilitated the Royal Thai Armed Forces to change the roles harmoniously and gain legitimacy as the one who controlled and regulated Thai politics for a long time.	th_TH
