การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาของสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา

Abstract

สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา รับนโยบายประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาจากทบวงมหาวิทยาลัยมาปฏิบัติตั้งแต่พุทธศักราช 2541 โดยใช้ระบบคุณภาพมาตรฐาน ISO 9002 เป็นระบบการประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา และมีการพัฒนามาโดยลำดับจนถึงปัจจุบัน สำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ใช้ระบบ IPO เป็นระบบหลักในการดำเนินงานตามเกณฑ์ของคุณภาพการศึกษา 9 องค์ประะกอบ ของทบวงมหาวิทยาลัย โดยมีกิจกรรม 5 ส เป็นกิจกรรมพื้นฐานในการส่งเสริมการประกันคุณภาพ และมีระบบเอกสารของ ISO 9002 เป็นคู่มือปฏิบัติงาน นอกจากนี้ ยังประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมการประหยัดพลังงานหรือโครงการหลังงานหารสอง และกิจกรรมเพื่อมุ่งพัฒนาบุคลากรของสำนักหอสมุด ทั้งนี้การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาได้ดำเนินมาถึงขั้นตอนการตรวจสอบคุณภาพการศึกษา ผลของการตรวจสอบจะเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาสำนักหอสมุด ในด้านประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาและการให้บริการห้องสมุดที่มีคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดไป Burapha University Library (BUUL) has been assigned by the Ministry of University Affairs to acquire educational quality insurance since 1998. BUUL has implemented the ISO 9002 quality standard as benchmark for this objective and the library has gradually been developed. Later, BUUL has implemented the IPO system to enhance the work quality to meet the 9-elements of education quality criteria set by the Ministry of University Affairs. To achieve the standard, the 5S basic activity programme and the ISO 9002 ducument system has been implemented. On top of that BUUL has adopted the national policy to conserve energy (power-by-half) and human resource development project. At the moment, the BUUL educational quality assurance project has reached the audit process. The result of which will be used as the benchmark for the BUUL service. In this article, the author lists some elements and also describes the procedure to run the process of the educational quality assurance at the library.
