dc.description.abstract	การวิจัยเรื่อง " การจัดหาและการใช้หนังสือของสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา พ.ศ. 2541-2542" เพื่อศึกษาปริมาณและสาขาวิชาของหนังสือที่จัดหาในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2541-2542 และศึกษาปริมาณการใช้หนังสือที่จัดหา ในระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2541-2543 รวมทั้งศึกษาอัตราการใช้หนังสือดังกล่าว การศึกษาครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้รวบรวมข้อมูลรายงานการจัดซื้อหนังสือ เลขหมู่หนังสือ และจำนวนครั้งของการยืมจากฐานข้อมูลโปรแกรมระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ในระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2541-2542 ห้องสมุดจัดหาหนังสือภาษาไทยมากกว่าหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศ หนังสือที่จัดหามากที่สุดและมีการยืมใช้มากที่สุดคือ หมวด 600 เทคโนโลยี หมวดที่จัดหาน้อยที่สุดและถูกยืมใช้น้อยที่สุดคือ หมวด 200 ศาสนา แต่เมื่อพิจารณาอัตราการยืมต่อเล่ม พบว่า หนังสือภาษาไทย หมวด 100 ปรัชญา และหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศ หมวด 700 ศิลปะ มีอัตราการยืมต่อเล่มสูงที่สุด	th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternative	The purpose ofthis research is to study the quantity and subject of books acquired in The Burapha University Library during 1998-1999, the use and borrowing rate of these books between 1998-2000. The records of books acquisition, call numbers and the amount of borrowing from the automatic library system were used for data analyzing of this research. The statistical analyses used was percentages. The results revealed that the library acquire more Thai book tham foreign lanuage books. The largest quantity of books acquired and used was class 600: Technology, whereas class 200: Relioion was smallest of book acquired and used. When considered borrowung rate of each book, it was found that class 100: Philosophy in Thai and class 700: Art in foreign lanuage were mostly borrowed	en
