dc.description.abstract	ในภาคตะวันออกอำนาจทางการเมืองมีลักษณะกระจายไปทั่วจังหวัดต่างๆ ทั้งภูมิภาคไม่ได้รวมศูนย์อำนาจไว้ในมือกำนันเป๊าะแต่เพียงผู้เดียว เนื่องจากในแต่ละจังหวัดต่างก็มีชนชั้นนำท้องถิ่นที่สถาปนาอำนาจผ่านตระกูลทางการเมืองที่แตกต่างกันไปตามบริบทของแต่ละจังหวัด โดยชนชั้นนำท้องถิ่นเหล่านี้เป็นผู้มีบทบาทในการครอบงำการตัดสินใจทางการเมืองของประชาชนในจังหวัดต่างๆ ของภาคตะวันออกดังนั้น กำนันเป๊าจึงไม่ใช่ 'เจ้าพ่อภาคตะวันออก' ผู้ครอบงำการเมืองภาคตะวันออกแต่เพียงผู้เดียว อย่างที่นักวิชาการบางคนเข้าใจ	th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternative	In eastern region, the political power is distributes to the provinces all power the region has never been centralized only in the hand of Kamnan Poh, Kamnan means village headman, who was Chonburi headman. Due to the fact that the provinces have local political elites who have established their power via political familiesvary in context.The local elites have the dominant role in the political decision of people in their province. Thus, Kamnan Poh has not been the godfather of eastern region who dominated all the area as some scholars understood.	en
