dc.description.abstract	โครงการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาการออกแบบเหลี่ยมเจียระไนอัญมณี โดยอาศัยโปรแกรม GemCad มาประยุกต์กับพลอยเนื้ออ่อน เครื่องเจียระไนที่ใช้แตกต่างกับที่ใช้ทั่วไปในจังหวัดจันทบุรี ที่เจียระไนด้วยมืออิสระที่ผู้เจียระไนต้องผ่านการฝึกฝนนานหลายปี นอกจากนั้นรูปแบบพลอยถูกจำกัดด้วยรูปร่างของพลอย ตามรูปแบบพลอยที่นิยมในท้องตลาดที่มีลักษณะกลม รูปไข่ รูปหยดน้ำ รูปมาคี และรูปหัวใจ เป็นต้น นักศึกษาสิบคนได้ถูกเลือกให้เป็นกลุ่มผู้ปฎิบัติงาน โดยทำการออกแบบอัญมณีซึ่งกำหนดเป็นพลอยเนื้ออ่อนชนิดควอทช์ ด้วยโปรแกรม GemCad และเจียระไนด้วยเครื่องเจียระไนที่มีแขนตุ๊กตาที่สามารถปรับและกำหนดค่ามุม ค่าดัชนีย์เกียร์ (Index) เพื่อให้ชิ้นงาานที่ได้มีความถูกต้อง แม่นยำ ซึ่งผู้ปฏิบัติงานสามารถเรียนรู้ได้ในเวลาสั้น เป็นหนทางหนึ่งในการลดปัญหาความขาดแคลนนักออกแบบและช่างเจียระไนในอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องประดับขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม	th_TH

dc.description.abstractalternative	The purpose of this study was to develop the design for gemstone using GemCad program. The faceting machine used was different from that normally used in Chantabure where the operator has to cat the stones by free hand. In order to operate successfully., he has to be trained for quite a long time. The designed pattern of the stones was also limited to the popular shapes (round, oval, pendeloque, marquise and heart shape). A group of ten students was selected to be trained for this programmed study. The faceting machine used consists of a motor that turns a lop, a water supply, an adjustable handpiece with index gears and a protractor, and an adjustable mast or platform to hold the handpiece assembly. Quartz was chosen as the gemstones for cutting. This group of students is able to design and cutting the stones according to this charts from the designed pattern in short time. From this study it can also solve the problem of the shortage of the designer and gemstones cutting in small and medium size jewelry industries.	th_TH
